History

The Beginning

Founded in 1938 on the initiative of a group of friends, including the future Prince Rainier III, Tip Top has grown over the decades into a true Monaco institution. A historic address in the heart of Monte-Carlo, it has long been a favourite among generations of locals, as well as stars from the worlds of sport and entertainment. Open around the clock, it is the perfect place to stop by for an aperitif, a meal or a late-night bite.

A New Chapter

Since 2025, under the direction of Chef Antonio Salvatore, Tip Top has entered a new, more dynamic and contemporary chapter, while preserving its authentic, welcoming spirit. The menu celebrates generous, accessible cuisine made with fresh ingredients, from pizza and pasta to burgers and seafood specialties.

The idea is simple: at Tip Top, the pleasure never sleeps. From breakfast and brunch to aperitivo, dinner and late-night dining, the restaurant is designed to accompany Monaco life at every hour. A takeaway service adds an extra touch of convenience to its new, younger and more casual identity.
